I’m not sure how high this building is, but it is the highest one in the city.
We had been shooting since early morning all over the city in some pretty cool locations, but this one at the end of the day was my favorite.
To get here, it took filling out forms and then more forms (I hate paperwork), lugging up Tripods, dolly’s, camera’s, lenses and some tired bodies up a small ladder and through a small trapdoor at the top of the building.
All this for one shot that is going to be on the film for about 10 seconds. But all worth it for a killer shot.
And also I love being up high (mostly on mountains), but there was something peaceful about being above the noise and the din below, that made me breath deeper ,take some time and go slow for a few moments to appreciate life stuff before i headed back down into our hectic filming schedule.
